Janet Person

B.B.A. (Simon Fraser)

Janet began working at the University of Victoria Faculty of Law in 1988, after graduating from the Faculty of Business Administration at Simon Fraser University. She has been the Admissions Officer at UVic Law for all but two of those years. She manages the admissions process for the Faculty, from the recruitment of prospective applicants to the compilation and analysis of statistics for the incoming first-year class.

She loves educating the world beyond Victoria about "the UVic Law Difference", but her passion is helping prospective students realize their dreams of being admitted to law school. To facilitate the enviable West Coast work/life balance, Janet works three-quarter time, spending her non-working hours engaged in a variety of family pursuits.
