Neela Paige

Neela joined the Faculty of Law Admissions Office in December 1988 and is responsible for its clerical operations. For the majority of law school applicants, she is the first point of contact and she strives to provide timely and informative responses in the friendliest manner possible — what we like to refer to as "The UVic Law Difference".

Neela's job entails a wide range of activities, including: answering phone calls; responding to email; managing applications through the Banner computer system; assembling applicant files; creating all official correspondence; and assisting Admissions Officer Janet Person and Admissions Officer Dawn Zacour as required.

Neela came to the UVic campus in 1975 from Selkirk College in Castlegar and worked previously in Anthropology and Sociology, Continuing Studies (for those who remember when that office was located in the huts!), Education (Advising Centre and General Office), Social Work and the Admissions Office (for the Director).
