Professor Webber is widely recognized as a scholar in the areas of cultural diversity, constitutional theory and indigenous rights. Prior to joining the Faculty of Law at UVic he was Dean of Law at the University of Sydney, Australia. He is author of Reimagining Canada: Language, Culture, Community and the Canadian Constitution (1994)
