Storied Communities:

Narratives of Contact and Arrival in Constituting Political Community

The Demcon 2006 conference is designed for faculty and graduate students with a strong interest in the theoretical challenges faced by supranational community in general and by European integration in particular. We are especially keen to welcome people interested in Demcon's theoretical agenda generally (see Purpose), who wish to join our extended conversation.

The conference is by invitation only, but we are delighted to receive requests for invitations and will be liberal in issuing them. Please contact demcon@uvic.ca

Registration fees for the entire conference are $TBA for faculty and $TBA for graduate students and include the conference dinner on Friday as well as continental breakfasts and lunches on Saturday and Sunday.


Registrants are eligible for concessional rates at the hotel associated with the conference (generally $90 plus taxes per night at one of Victoria's finest hotels.)

Once you have received an invitation, please print a Registration Form (available below in two formats). Complete the form and send in with your payment. We will notify you by email when your registration is confirmed.
