Demcon 2005 Conference:
Supranational Political Community: Substance? Conditions? Pitfalls?

The Demcon 2005 conference is designed for faculty and graduate students with a strong interest in the theoretical challenges faced by supranational community in general and by European integration in particular. We are especially keen to welcome people interested in Demcon's theoretical agenda generally (see Purpose), who wish to join our extended conversation.

The conference is by invitation only, but we are delighted to receive requests for invitations and will be liberal in issuing them. Please contact demcon@uvic.ca.

Registration fees for the entire conference are $140 for faculty and $90 for graduate students and include the conference dinner on Friday as well as contintental breakfasts and lunches on Saturday and Sunday.

(Fees for graduate students are intended to cover a portion of meals costs. We hope to offer a limited number of travel subsidies for graduate students - although that will depend on success in a grant application, to be announced in early July.)

Registrants are eligible for concessional rates at hotels associated with the conference (generally $70 plus taxes per night, at some of Victoria's best hotels).

Once you have received an invitation, please print a Registration Form (available below in two formats). Complete the form and send in with your payment. We will notify you by email when your registration is confirmed.
