Students — as well as the legal community as a whole — benefit from our continuing efforts to expand and enrich a wide array of innovative programs.

Our donors continue to support the Faculty of Law with remarkable dedication and enthusiasm. Their generous contributions are crucial to maintaining the high standards of our programs. Scholarships and bursaries help us attract the best and brightest applicants to our undergraduate and graduate programs. These financial assistance programs also recognize the outstanding academic, leadership and community service achievements of undergraduate and graduate students. We are tremendously proud of their accomplishments and we know that they greatly appreciate the ongoing support of our donors.

Individuals and organizations that contribute to the school's bursary and scholarship funds have helped hundreds of law students pursue their educational goals. These programs help ensure that qualified students are able to attend law school regardless of their financial means or social circumstances. With your support, we are helping to create a legal profession that better reflects the social, cultural and economic diversity of this country.

Some of your financial contributions assist the Faculty in enriching its curriculum. Other donations are used to improve the Fraser Building's facilities, with the renovation of the law library and upgrades to our largest lecture hall being just two recent examples. Together with our donors, we are delivering on UVic Law's promise to offer the best possible learning environment for Canada's next generation of legal professionals.
